Ithala Wildlife Reserve
Situated in the rugged, mountainous thornveld of northern KwaZulu-Natal, the reserve hosts a spectacular array of wildlife species, including rhino, giraffe, elephants, buffalo and leopard.
Some of the oldest rock formations in the world are found also here, dating back 3 000 million years.
A 7 kilometre long road leads from the entrance to the Ntsondwe Camp. The 40 chalets in the camp are hidden between rocks and fig trees. There is a bar, restaurant, shop and reception in the main building.
